This Studios team consists of over 400 people located in 5 studios – Norway, the US, Portugal, Sweden and Romania. As part of their ongoing growth, and completing a successful turnaround, they are now backed by Tencent, the largest online gaming company in the world!

From critically acclaimed sci-fi MMO Online highly successful titles, their 30-year history has set our players uniquely up for a journey to this new console title. Where the continual battle for survival and spice will bring a challenge that is Legendary.

Now, their Game Development team needs an experienced and talented Senior UI/UX Programmer to join.

Your Mission

As a Senior UI/UX Programmer at this studio, you will use your experience both to improve the usability and accessibility of existing game features, as well as craft the user experience of features still in development. You will also spend time mentoring and supporting more junior members of the team.

Responsibilities;

• Plan and implement UI systems for our upcoming on a sandbox survival game.
• Work closely with the UX designers and UI artists to ensure that UIs meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Careful attention to detail, especially with regard to compliance, layout, and design.
• Optimize and fix bugs in existing UI systems.
• Write robust, maintainable code.
• Mentor and support less experienced members of the team.

They are looking for someone that has:

• 3+ years of experience in UI programming
• Experience working on PC or console games
• Good knowledge of C++
• Strong communication skills (English is our working language)
• An interest in keeping up to date with the newest trends in UI in the industry
• Ue4/Ue5 is a bonus but not required, working on an inhouse engine where it is built in C++ is relevant.
