This studio is looking for an experienced Multiplayer / Network Programmer who will work on one of their unannounced open world AAA multiplayer games.
They have a long history of creating some of the most immersive, playful and procedural game worlds in the industry. (all self-published) They are a studio of 450 developers, located across 4 studios in Liverpool, Stockholm, Malmo, New York With their next AAA Shooter Console title, they are bringing their strong single player experience to life in open world multiplayer environments and this is where you come in.
You will be;
Implementing gameplay features with a multiplayer perspective.
Manage designers’ expectations and translate their visions into reality.
Create tools to assist the team in debugging multiplayer.
Optimize the bandwidth usage of the game to maintain a great, consistent user experience.
3+ years of experience in the game industry
1+ years experience implementing multiplayer on a shipped title
Proficiency in C++ programming
A strong passion for multiplayer games
A keen sense of fun gameplay
Familiarity with animation, physics and gameplay code in general.
Located in Malmo in Sweden, working remotely then moving back inhouse when they are able to. So this will be an inhouse role.
